Ingredients

  • 4 thick cut bone-in pork chops (1-2 inches thick)

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

  • 2 tbsp paprika

  • 2 tsp kosher salt

  • 2 tsp ground black pepper

  • 2 tsp ground mustard

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

  • Remove pork chops from the fridge 30 minutes before grilling to reach room temperature.

  • Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F).

  • Pat the chops dry with a paper towel and rub evenly with vegetable oil.

  • In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar, paprika, salt, pepper, mustard, onion powder, and garlic powder.

  • Apply the seasoning rub generously to all sides of the pork chops.

  • Place chops on the hot grill. Do not move them for 5-7 minutes.

  • Rotate the chops a quarter turn to create crosshatch marks and grill for another 2-3 minutes.

  • Flip the chops and grill for 2-3 minutes on the second side until the internal temperature reaches 140°F.

  • Remove from the grill, tent with foil, and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
